The role of the Splunk deployment server.
- To configure the deployment server, navigate to
- Make a new directory for the app you wish to create OR move the app you wish to deploy to this directory
- Once we add this directory we now need to reload the deployment server
./splunk reload deploy-server - Once the directory or app is added you should now be able to see the 'forwarder management' section of the gui
/opt/splunk/etc/deployment-apps/
